You will be given a security card to enter the appropriate ward, so please wear it around your neck during your visit.
If the loaned security card is lost or damaged, you will be charged a 1,000 JPY reissuing fee. - Please refrain from bringing children on visits.

After-Hours and Emergency Outpatient Services
An emergency outpatient unit has been established for nighttime and holidays.
It coordinates with medical institutions in the area in and around Tachikawa to provide emergency care primarily to patients with comparatively severe symptoms who require urgent surgery, examination, or emergency hospitalization.
If you have a primary care physician, please contact them first. If your symptoms are mild, the Tachikawa Holiday Clinic is available.
Please be sure to contact us before seeking consultation.
Telephone: 042-523-3131
- This hospital is a designated Secondary Emergency Institution, so treatment is prioritized for patients transported by ambulance and patients who are severely ill or in critical condition. For this reason, the order in which patients check in may not be the order in which they are seen by a doctor.
- Only emergency examination is performed at nighttime and on holidays. As there are some tests that can only be performed on weekdays, if symptoms persist, it is recommended that you seek an outpatient consultation on a weekday afternoon.
- For emergencies, only a single day’s dose (or an amount sufficient until the next weekday) of medication will be prescribed.
- Doctors from various clinical fields serve as attending doctors for emergency outpatient unit on a rotating basis. Depending on the symptoms, it may be difficult to provide treatment, so please be sure to contact us in advance.
Additional Fees for Consultations Outside Consultation Hours
In addition to the consultation fee, there may be a separate charge for after-hours consultations.
Fee for Patient-Selected After-Hours Medical Services
As a designated secondary we accept high-urgency patients requiring hospitalization 24 hours a day.
However, as lower-urgency patients also seek consultations from the holiday and nighttime emergency outpatient unit, this can be a hindrance to its primary objective of rendering prompt treatment to severely ill patients.
In order to alleviate these conditions, the hospital requires lower-urgency patients to pay a separate fee of 5,000JPY (tax incl.) for patient-selected after-hours medical services in addition to the consultation fee.
However, severely ill patients who require hospitalization and patients who require emergency prescriptions (below, “patients exempt from the additional fee”) do not need to pay this fee.
We ask for your understanding regarding this fee for patient-selected after-hours medical services, so that we may provide safe and high quality medical care to all patients.
Exempt from additional fee
- Patients transported by ambulance
- Patients hospitalized after seeking emergency outpatient services
- Patients who were seen at our hospital on the same day, and worsening symptoms require a second after-hours consultation
- Patients directed by another hospital to seek emergency outpatient services, with a referral letter to that effect
- Patients directed by a doctor at this hospital to seek emergency outpatient services due to urgent need, or directed in advance to seek emergency outpatient services for treatments, injections, etc.
